Flour & Mush

The film is about an encounter between a sack of flour, Flour, and a broken tree trunk, Mush. Flour knows how to cook, embroider and make bread. His happiness is completed when he does all these for Mush. A group of rats appears to attack Flour, causing him to disappear – depicting unexpectedness in everyday life.

Emily is a mother and a stop-motion animator in Hong Kong. She studied stop-motion in Bristol, England. Her animation shorts had been invited to participate in more than 50 international film festivals and won several awards. She’s now the artist in residence in Hsinchu, Taiwan for one year.
