Daphne Xourafi is a director, animator and illustrator. Her first film, “Mine”, has just begun its journey to festivals around the world, where it has won Best Animation at the Cannes World Film Festival and is also an Official Selection for the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival. Having grown up making stories and magical worlds and looking to find how such a profession could survive in Greece, Daphne will try to advise those who want to join the animation industry. That is, how the domain works in Greece and abroad nowadays, how was the film “Mine” made, the skills that one should practice, how to choose the animation field in which one would perform best, as well as ways to promote their work online and -therefore- approach even greater opportunities.
