ALEZAN

A woman in a wedding dress finds herself in a stable. As her intimacy is being disturbed, she starts wondering about the possibility to choose her own destiny. The wedding dress embodies a critical moment in a woman’s life. We can immediately identify this chronological and social milestone thanks to that outfit. Marriage might be perceived as a positive achievement in someone’s life. However, does every woman have to go through that life stage? Indeed, marriage is a social institution that implies love, but it cannot replace it. Can we free ourselves from the social markers that may influence our education and our environment without fearing to be ostracized by others, or having any regret caused by our own judgement? Are we able to grasp our own desires?
