Jumpy Puppy, a shy Jack Russell puppy, lives in a house at the edge of a forest full of enchanted beings. Accompanying him on his adventures is a stunt-car driving, movie-writing flea by the name of Gonzales. This little cartoon reveals how the two first met.

Jumpy Puppy and friends is written, voiced and directed by Jerome Goerke, with the story based on the audiobook series by the same name. Cairo-based animator Mahmoud Rabea created the visuals and character design. Both have children who love JP and Gonzales –a mischievous pair originally dreamt up by Jerome Goerke’s father when the artist was a small boy: A simple case of bedside tales from the past being rendered into animations for the future!
