Two Elsewheres of the Eyes

With this work we’re presenting the study of the human body as a critical starting concept in its figurative integrity and in its condition as an object in the making. The subject, on the other hand, is the time (still image – immobile – of eternity). Man’s ages are different elsewheres, melancholically looking to each other.

Fortuna De Nardo and Lorenzo Peluffo met each other at Albertina Fine Arts Academy in Turin, and started working together during the pandemic era, so most of their works are a long distance thing. Their research is mainly focused on video art, non-linear narrations, digital folklore, light, sound and flowers. They used to gaze away into the distance – at first – and then rephrase.
