Growing up in a world, where it feels like the most important thing is how you look, is tough. But beauty is, after all, the most ephemeral <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">part of a most valuable whole.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annabel Venneker (NL)<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Annabel is a filmmaker from the Netherlands. In her work she enjoys experimenting with how color and texture convey emotion. She likes to take a playful approach to constructing a narrative, usually creating images and animations around a subject and seeing what kind of story forms using editing. She draws most of her inspiration out of everyday life, and in her films and drawings she often covers topics like femininity and intimacy.
